Lobotomies may have been considered to be a major method of treatment for “criminally insane” individuals because, perhaps, organizations did not know what else to do. The same may be true with electroshock treatments that were given to those with mental illness; criminals that are jailed for decades or lifetime because of broken laws; minorities whom were lynched (or hanged) in the USA because of their skin color; Germans whom extinguished Jews because they were perceived to be beneath the majority; or those whom are lethally terminated because of ideas or laws of right or wrong, in which they were considered to be iniquitous.
