- For this discussion, assume you are in charge of the progressive care unit (PCU) at your organization. This unit is usually occupied by clients with acute and chronic cardiovascular diseases. Administration has notified you that the budget for your unit, for the past twelve months, has been inflated over its projected cost. You have been assigned to work with other professional leaders in developing a collaborative, cost-effective, and innovative strategy to facilitate a positive change for your unit.
To complete this discussion:
- Determine how you will assess the needs.
- Identify appropriate interventions for change.
- Explain how each intervention is cost effective and speaks to the overall organizational culture.
