In most instances, I would allow more time for each appointment. I would allow at least 15 minutes for each appointment, to give the physician time to answer any questions and discuss treatment options or diagnoses. Based on the amount of time of 15 minutes per appointment, I would schedule four appointments each hour, beginning at 8:30 am. If the office stops seeing patients at 4:30 and the medical staff take an hour for lunch, that would allow 7 hours for patient scheduling. Each physician would be able to see 28 patients each day.
