Health care professionals should be dedicated to the preservation and protection of human life. Abortion is the spontaneous or artificially induced expulsion of the embryo or fetus from the womb. As we know, spontaneous abortions, (miscarriages) are a natural part of the life cycle. Health care professionals should take all reasonable steps within their capabilities to prevent miscarriages. Nevertheless, in many cases, spontaneous abortions cannot be avoided.
